Dr. Peter Odion Atakpu, Treasurer

My name is Peter Odion Atakpu, Treasurer - Edo National Association World-Wide. I was born in MInna in Northern Nigeria but attended primary and secondary school in Edo State. Graduated high school in Nigeria at St. Peter Claver's College Aghalokpe. After 3years of teaching High school in Nigeria, I moved to the U.S to further my education.

I have been a resident of Minnesota for the past 40years where I did most of my postgraduate work at the University of Minnesota.

I have also been an active member of the Edo community in the State of Minnesota. As a current member of The Edo Association of Minnesota (TEAM) for almost ten years, I served 2-terms as Vice President, and also served 2-terms as President of the Association.

And I am currently serving as the Treasurer of the Association; and it has been my humble pleasure to serve my people in this capacity and the association as well.
